How can a mass-market chain restaurant that's been around for years possibly be a new trend? Is it changing anyone's behavior, lives, identity, self-image, etc? Nah. Lame. |

I know when you think of "trend" you imagine things that are cutting edge. I don't disagree, but the goal of edopter is to track trends as they start through when they mature. People love Chipotle, and more and more find out about it everyday. Cutting edge it is not, but I would argue that it is still a trend for the early majority. |

There is no trend towards Chipolte. It has been around for many years. As Mission Burritos makes its way to NYC, perhaps the burrito will come back as a popular food but right now, the burrito and Mexican food is general is over. For a more modern, perhaps one could even say trendy choice, the Hampton Chutney Co. in SoHo and other eastern influenced cuisines are much more on the cutting edge. |

Owned by McDonalds...come on you socially conscious eco friendly anti consumerists, its time to boycott. The barbacoa might taste good, but its not worth the flaming diarrhea or the carbon shit-print. |

I would have to disagree with you guys. I think it is nasty! Don't get me wrong it tastes amazing but there is a reason why its tastes so good! |

Chipotle is only good if you eat it at the store. Unless you live < 5 minutes away, takeout tacos get really cold, really fast. And you can't microwave the tinfoil wrap. Nonetheless, 3 soft tacos are excellent. My brother advocates for his personalized favorite dish: 2 vegetarian soft tacos. It's not on the menu, per se, so some cashiers have to be prodded into action. |
