WHAT IS IT?
Where else in NYC can you rent a luxury 3 BR apt for only $2000 that also features cultural diversity, an independent art scene, distinct neighborhoods, a unique architectural heritage, superb cultural institutions, amusement parks & hot night spots?

RECENT PITCHES

I love the Lower East Side, but they are tearing down the building next door to me to build 24 story luxury condo. It's time to move somewhere more affordable, and Brooklyn is the most likely target...
andy says

Brooklyn is famous for so many things. As Manhattan becomes more commercialized and trendy, more people are moving to Brooklyn, the new Manhattan.

Rob, I think the addition of Ikea to Red Hook is a good thing! Ikea + Fairway (best grocery store ever) are excellent low cost, high quality goods providers in a somewhat "under privileged" area. Plus, Ikea has made the waterway accessible and safe for residents to enjoy, along with the fact that they provide free transportation (land and sea) to Manhattan.
